A leading DfE-accredited training provider seeks an Early Years Apprenticeship Trainer/Coach to deliver impactful training and support learners through their qualification journey. Qualifications

  • Experience delivering and assessing Early Years apprenticeships up to Level 5.
  • Vocational experience in Early Years at Supervisor level or higher.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

  • Observe learners in their workplace, providing feedback and collecting evidence.
  • Conduct 1:1 coaching and support sessions for learners.

The Role

As an Early Years Apprenticeship Trainer/Coach, you’ll support and inspire learners undertaking:

• Level 2 and Level 3 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeships

• Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship

You will deliver impactful training, guide learners through their qualification journey, and ensure they are fully prepared for End-Point Assessment. This role combines remote coaching with in-person visits across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging training and assessment to Early Years apprentices from Level 2 to Level 5

• Observe learners in their workplace, providing feedback and collecting evidence to support their progress

• Conduct 1:1 coaching and support sessions to help learners meet their individual learning plans

• Embed Functional Skills (Maths and English) into the learning experience

• Host monthly webinars and deliver group sessions on key topics

• Track and monitor learner progress through ePortfolio systems

• Maintain up-to-date, accurate documentation in line with compliance requirements

• Support learners with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) where appropriate

• Build effective relationships with employers to enhance the learner journey

About You

• Recognised Assessor Qualification (e.g. TAQA, CAVA, A1)

• Relevant Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above

• Vocational experience in Early Years at Supervisor level or higher

• Experience delivering and assessing Early Years apprenticeships up to Level 5

• Confident using digital learning platforms and ePortfolios

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region

• Level 3 Award in Education & Training (AET/PTLLS) or higher
