Role Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced ApprenticeshipCoach to deliver our AI-focused Digital Support Technician programme.

In this role, you will be responsible for guiding,coaching, and assessing learners throughout their apprenticeshipjourney, helping them to achieve success and realise their potential.You will play a key role in shaping the learner experience bydelivering high-quality coaching and creating a culture of continuousimprovement.

You’ll manage a caseload of up to 50learners (excluding those with planned end dates or on break inlearning), typically spread across two cohorts.

Key Responsibilities:

Induction &Onboarding

  • Lead and support learner inductions andinitial assessments.
  • Conduct initial learner visits within 14working days of programme commencement.
  • Assist in timelycompletion of skills scans and onboarding visits.

Coaching & Assessment

  • Deliver engaging,structured coaching sessions aligned to the curriculum.
  • Stretch and challenge learners to exceed expectations andachieve higher-level outcomes.
  • Liaise with employers totailor learning plans and ensure alignment with job roles.
  • Prepare learners for End Point Assessments (EPA) through mockassessments and structured preparation.
  • Adhere to the DigitalSupport Technician assessment framework and stay updated on anychanges to the apprenticeship standard.
  • Collaborate with thedelivery team to enhance quality and learner experience.

Learner Progress & Pastoral Support

  • Conduct regular progress reviews and set SMART targetswith learners and employers.
  • Identify and address additionallearning needs, working with support teams and external agencies whereappropriate.
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive learning environmentpromoting safeguarding, Prevent Duty, and British values.
  • Encourage the development of English, maths, and professionalsoft skills.
  • Support off-the-job training initiatives andworkplace learning integration.

Performance & Impact

  • Ensure timelycompletion of all required paperwork in line with EPAO regulations.
  • Achieve timely learner completions and appropriateinterventions to support progress.
  • Maintain high levels oflearner attendance, retention, and engagement across all cohorts.
  • Use employer and learner feedback to inform continuousquality improvement.
  • Proactively address and escalate anylearner risks or concerns.

QualityAssurance & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance withquality standards and regulatory requirements including Ofsted, ESFA,and awarding organisations.
  • Take part in internalverification, standardisation activities, and peer observations.
  • Work towards (or maintain) IQA certification as part of roleexpectations.

Administrative Duties

  • Accurately complete administrative and reportingresponsibilities in a timely manner.
  • Support the developmentof learning content, knowledge base materials, and shared bestpractices.
  • Ensure effective learner tracking and dataaccuracy across platforms.

ProfessionalDevelopment

  • Undertake and actively participate inCPD, including Level 3 teaching qualification and IQA training.
  • Contribute to curriculum improvement, programme builds, andinnovation across the organisation.

WhatWe’re Looking For:

  • Experience in coaching, teaching,or mentoring, particularly in digital or technical environments.
  • Experience delivering apprenticeship programmes or regulatedqualifications.
  • A proactive and learner-centred approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highattention to detail and a commitment to quality and compliance.
  • Willingness to undertake required qualifications (teachingand IQA).
  • Experience with safeguarding, Prevent Duty, andBritish values within an educational context.
  • Familiaritywith Digital Support Technician or related apprenticeship standards.

This role is subject to:

  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Receipt of two satisfactory references.
  • Completionof safeguarding, Prevent, and British values training (unless exempt).
