Technical Solutions Engineer

The COMPANY

With over 20 years of experience, our client is a pioneer in AI-powered digital pathology software and services. They are recognized as global leaders in supplying this specialized software to the life sciences sector, enabling analysis and interpretation of slide images.

The Role

Due to an internal promotion, they now require a Technical Solutions Engineer to join their team. Working from home, the engineer will be responsible for configuring and installing the client's software for their customers. The main duties include:

1. Handling software-related requests
2. Analyzing software issues and proposing solutions
3. Troubleshooting software problems
4. Identifying root causes of issues
5. Conducting software testing and installations
6. Managing IT-related issues and database migrations
7. Advising customers on hardware and software configurations and implementations
8. Developing customer relationships through professional interactions

The Person

The ideal candidate will be an intelligent and dynamic individual eager to develop their career within this progressive organization. Requirements include:

• Experience as an IT Engineer, Technical Solutions Engineer, Application Support Engineer, or similar
• Scripting knowledge
• Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft tools and application environments
• Networking knowledge
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills
• Comfortable presenting solutions to diverse audiences, including engineers, developers, architects, IT managers, and executives
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects

Salary and Package

Starting salary: £42,000. The package includes bonuses, pension, income protection, etc.
