Description
Eagle Street is a pan European real estate investment and asset manager focussed on Ireland, UK and other select European markets. We acquire, develop, refurbish, and manage real estate assets and portfolios in our target markets.
Eagle Street is focused on thematic real estate investment strategies and building vertically integrated operating platforms to support these strategies. Current real estate investment strategies comprise living, retail, industrial, and commercial offices, where we believe there is significant value to be unlocked through local knowledge and networks, active asset management, and vertically integrated operating platforms.
We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant with 3-5 years PQE, ideally with a background in real estate, to join our growing finance team. This role presents an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced investment and asset management environment where you will take ownership of key financial processes and contribute to both the operational and strategic aspects of finance.
Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will lead the preparation of financial statements and investor reporting across our investment vehicles, support transaction structuring, liaise with third-party advisors, and play an integral role in system and process enhancements, including Yardi implementation.
Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end accounting for multiple investment vehicles and corporate entities.
• Lead monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal postings, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review management accounts, investor reports, and board packs with meaningful analysis and commentary.
• Draft annual statutory financial statements and manage the audit process from planning to completion.
• Oversee VAT, Corporate Tax and RCT compliance with support from external tax advisors.
• Drive improvements in internal controls, finance processes, and reporting efficiency.
• Take a lead role in the implementation and optimisation of Yardi or other finance systems.
• Support ad hoc financial modelling, forecasting, and decision-making related to acquisitions, developments, and disposals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with asset management, development, legal, and external advisors.
