Job Description:

This exciting opportunity is ideal for a recently ACA-qualified Senior Accountant looking to transition from practice to industry. You will work closely with the Group FC and be actively involved in the role.

The responsibilities for this Financial Accounting role in a manufacturing business with an £80 million turnover include:

1. Preparation of the annual report and interim statements
2. Coordination with external advisers and auditors on accounting matters
3. Monthly group consolidation
4. Supporting the month-end close process
5. Reviewing month-end balance sheet reconciliations
6. Ensuring subsidiary compliance with group accounting policies
7. Bank covenant reporting and cash flow statement preparation
8. Preparation of statutory accounts
9. Supporting credit control oversight
10. Maintaining financial authority tables within the accounting system
11. Acting as a point of contact for technical accounting queries within the group
12. Supporting UK taxation matters
13. Providing leadership and support to the finance department
14. Performing any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Group Financial Controller

NB: Experience with IFRS and group consolidations is essential.
