Position Overview

The Manager, Systems Engineering leads a team of system engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining hardware, software, and complex systems. The role ensures systems align with strategic goals, deliver high-quality solutions, and support continuous improvement. The manager engages with clients to understand requirements, provide technical expertise, and maintain strong relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.

Accountabilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of systems engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
  • Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of systems, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to standards.
  • Manage tasks from inception to completion, allocating resources effectively.
  • Develop quality assurance processes, ensure compliance with regulations, and conduct audits.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs, deliver solutions, and foster trust.
  • Promote continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
  • Serve as a primary contact for internal stakeholders, communicating progress and issues.
  • Handle company property responsibly and adhere to policies.

Experience & Technical Requirements

  • Diploma in a technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing people and performance.
  • At least 5 years in a systems or computer technology role.
  • Strong knowledge of IT services, MS Operating Systems, and applications.
  • Experience with highways technology or speed enforcement is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport for travel.
  • Ability to pass background checks and attain necessary certifications.
