Orange Cyberdefense is the expert cyber security business unit of the Orange Group, providing security consulting, solutions, and services to organisations globally. We aim to protect freedom and foster a safer digital society. We are seeking a Technical Services Team Lead to join our UK team.

Role Overview:

The Technical Professional Services Team Lead, reporting to the UK Head of Professional Services, manages a team of skilled consultants. The role involves leading the delivery of technical assessments, installations, onboarding MSS services, and comprehensive design and architecture services for Orange Cyberdefense UK.

The team specializes in advanced technical security consultancy across various client solutions, technologies, and systems, including cloud, endpoint systems, applications, firewalls, mobile applications, and related policies, ensuring security and compliance.

The role balances team leadership (50%) with billable consultancy (50%), participating in hands-on delivery of critical engagements to ensure strategic oversight and operational excellence, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the team, ensuring service delivery efficiency.
  • Report on team KPIs, utilization, and activities to the UK Executive Team.
  • Participate in client engagements, dedicating 50% of time to billable activities like security assessments, audits, and compliance reviews.
  • Review and approve documentation such as Statements of Work, proposals, designs, and reports.
  • Represent Orange Cyberdefense UK at client and industry events.
  • Ensure high standards in all service engagements.

Candidate Profile:

  • Extensive experience with security vendors like Palo Alto, CheckPoint, F5, Cisco, Fortinet, Varonis, Zscaler, Netskope.
  • Proven cybersecurity consultancy experience, delivering projects on security strategy, risk assessments, design, and implementation.
  • Experience with security auditing tools, IDPS, SIEM technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of firewalls, endpoint protection, intrusion prevention.
  • Experience designing security solutions for complex multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Background in roles such as SecOps, Sales, Pre-Sales, Security Consulting.
  • Hands-on leadership experience, including coaching and mentoring teams.
