Job Description

Our client, a leading retailer, is currently seeking a Service Transition Lead to join their team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leading the successful transition of new and changing services into the operational environment
  2. Developing and executing service transition plans in line with IT Service Management best practices
  3. Collaborating with project managers, service managers, and support teams to ensure smooth transitions
  4. Managing stakeholder communication and expectations throughout the transition process
  5. Ensuring all necessary documentation and training materials are developed and delivered
  6. Identifying and mitigating risks associated with service transitions
  7. Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of service transition activities
  8. Providing continuous improvement recommendations for service transition processes
Job Requirements:
  • Experience in IT Service Management, particularly within a retail environment
  • Strong understanding of service transition methodologies and best practices
  • Proven ability to manage and lead service transition activities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • High proficiency in developing and executing transition plans
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Relevant IT qualifications or certifications, such as ITIL, are highly desirable
