We are recruiting a skilled Events Executive within the Group Sales and Meetings & Events team to manage and deliver an exceptional event experience for our guests, including reimagined dining experiences, event spaces, and newly refurbished 235 guestrooms and suites.

The Role
As our Sales and Events Executive, you will manage and plan successful programs for our clients and guests, including meetings, incentives, and social events, ensuring smooth planning, client satisfaction, and effective communication across hotel departments.
Reporting to the Assistant Group Conference & Events Manager, you and the team will deliver an exceptional guest experience aligned with our core values of care, connection, and curation.
Typical Weekly Responsibilities
- Handle file handovers from the Sales team for contracted events, guiding clients through the event management process.
- Communicate client needs, event schedules, menu choices, and inclusions across all departments.
- Manage inquiries for small meetings, social events, weddings, and dinners, converting them into successful events.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales, upsell, and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure effective planning and billing procedures to achieve high guest satisfaction.
- Manage key accounts and annual events.
- Build strong relationships with clients, both new and repeat.
- Participate in hotel promotional activities.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments.
- Produce Banqueting Event Orders with full details for all departments.
- Attend meetings to discuss event details.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in an Events role.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Confidence in numerical skills, reporting, and data analysis.
- Knowledge of hotel systems; experience with OnQ and Delphi preferred.
- Creative approach to event programming.
- High grooming standards.
- Attention to detail.
- Resilience and ability to perform under pressure.
- Knowledge of hotel property management systems and relevant qualifications or certifications are advantageous.
