We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project and Risk Management specialist to join our Global Markets First Line of Defense Customer Protection and Market Practices (CPaMP) Risk Team. This role combines project management with risk oversight, ensuring client communication processes, controls, and tools are effectively implemented to meet policy and regulatory expectations. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing enhanced controls, governance, and tooling related to structured communications created by the Global Markets sales and trading teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in regulatory risk management, technology delivery, and stakeholder coordination across complex global environments.
What the Team does:
The Global Markets First Line of Defense Markets Customer Protection and Market Practices Risk team focuses on:
- Identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating CPaMP risks across global markets.
- Ensuring compliance with Customer Protection and Market Practices, two of the six core Compliance risks within Citi.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Support the implementation of risk-based controls aligned with policy and regulatory expectations.
- Assess risks associated with client communications and identify necessary control enhancements.
Project Management
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the structured communications project across multiple workstreams.
- Manage project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance, legal, technology, and business units.
- Support management information and reporting.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the central point of contact for teams involved in the structured communications initiative.
- Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on project progress.
- Ensure clear communication across all stakeholders.
Tool and Data Management
- Support the development and rollout of tools designed to enhance structured communications controls.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Risk Management: Strong understanding of risk management practices, including experience managing projects with risk, compliance, or communication-related deliverables.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for impactful reporting and communication with senior stakeholders.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with business communication control frameworks, relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to client communication (preferred).
