Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Linux/AWS)

• Salary up to £50,000 p/a
• Hybrid position: 1 day a fortnight in Stoke-on-Trent
• Start date: April
• On-call (1 week in 5/6, fully compensated after probation)

Who are we?

We are a software house providing cutting-edge solutions to clients in the financial sector. We have multiple onsite teams in Stoke-on-Trent across data, cloud, infrastructure, and development. Due to growth, our Linux team needs an engineer with a solid background in Linux, Virtual Machines, and AWS.

What you will be doing…

You will handle BAU tasks escalated from the service desk, documentation, and ongoing client service. You will also work on projects involving system design, implementation, and new solutions, collaborating with other technical teams and clients. The role is based in Stoke-on-Trent, mainly working from the office, with occasional remote meetings.

What you need…

• Linux SysAdmin/Engineering experience
• Experience with AWS cloud services
• Experience with Virtual Machines (ESXi/vSphere)
• British Citizenship
