  • Oversee design consultants and specialist fees, ensuring legal and commercial compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and subcontractors.
  • Contribute to net zero carbon goals by managing associated emissions during project delivery.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Lead monthly project cost and risk meetings.
  • Strong financial and commercial skills.
  • Experience with project variations and contract management.
  • Member of senior management and safety leadership teams.
  • Understanding of current construction technology and diverse contract types.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or equivalent.
  • CSCS certification.
Additional Skills and Experience
  • Membership of MCIOB, MAPM, MRICS, MICE, or similar.
  • Proven success in project delivery within the construction sector.
  • Developing commercial and financial expertise.
  • Leadership experience in large, diverse teams.
  • Stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and carbon considerations in projects.
  • Contract law knowledge with risk mitigation skills.
  • Understanding of Mace's service offerings and client engagement.
