A leading company in food manufacturing seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in Eastleigh. This role involves maintaining production assets, driving improvements, and working within a close-knit engineering team. Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Core Hours Mon-Fri 8am to 4.30pm
Flexibility to cover shift engineers on leave/sick. Up to GBP45,000 basic salary plus overtime/time off in lieu.

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a strong multiskilled background looking for a new challenge, autonomy, and a genuine desire to drive improvements? Based in Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh, we are seeking a permanent and proactive engineer to maintain and improve a food manufacturing facility, ensuring production assets are in excellent condition and supporting continuous site improvements.
More about the role: Join a close-knit Engineering team, working on breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance to reduce downtime and act strategically. You should have extensive maintenance experience across mechanical and electrical systems, including pneumatics, motor drives, some welding, and troubleshooting various breakdown scenarios. The role is multiskilled with a mechanical bias, but we seek a well-skilled maintenance professional capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
