Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: High Peak

Days: Mon - Thurs 7:30-16:30, Friday 7:30am-11:30am

Salary: £39,599+ Pension + Holidays + Sick pay scheme + Staff shop + subsidized canteen + Standard OT rate + £300 bonus

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a UK owned leading food manufacturer, a growing and supportive organization. The company is well established with over 85 years of manufacturing experience, and is a privately owned British manufacturer with over 150 staff in Middlewich. They are expanding their engineering team due to increased market share.

The Role

The ideal candidate will have a multi-skilled engineering background, capable of working independently, and be a time-served engineer with a mechanical bias, ideally with experience in fast-moving manufacturing environments.

The successful candidate will handle all aspects of daily engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring high standards and maximizing machine efficiency. Experience with PLC systems is advantageous. You will also work on variable speed drives, conveyors, multi-vac machines, gearboxes, pumps, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and other manufacturing machinery.
