Range £26,942 – £29,959 pa (depending on experience)
Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge University, is seeking to appoint a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative within its Maintenance Department to support the high standard of maintenance provision for the College.
This post would suit a pro-active, hands-on person with practical experience in all aspects of maintenance. Experience of working in a college environment would also be welcomed. Excellent communications skills and knowledge of Health and Safety are also important to this role.
This is a full time, permanent post, involving 37.5 hours per week. The salary is based on points 29- 33 of the University’s single salary spine, currently equating to £26,942 – £29,959 per annum. Incremental salary progression up the range is discretionary.
Benefits include an annual leave entitlement of 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays; a contributory pension scheme provided by the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS), free College meals when on duty, College uniform and subsidised membership of the College’s gym facilities. The college is also closed over the Christmas period.
