Role Overview

The Engineering Technician - Plumber supports the Technical Supervisor and Area Operations Manager by providing reactive and pre-planned maintenance for building systems across various sites, following established procedures and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Complete reactive repairs on water appliances and associated plant.
  2. Assist with other site tasks within your skill set as needed.
  3. Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service.
  4. Uphold and develop your technical skills through ongoing personal development.
Person Specification
  • College or equivalent plumbing qualifications
  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience with boiler equipment and sanitary systems
  • Experience with commercial catering gas (desirable)
  • Effective communication skills at all levels
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Desirable Skills and Certifications
  • Manual Handling awareness
  • F-Gas certification
  • Legionella awareness
  • PASMA and IPAF certifications
  • Asbestos Awareness
