We are currently working with a well-regarded, Legal 500 ranked firm in Watford that is looking for an NQ Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced residential conveyancing law professional to join a supportive team and develop a legal career.

Your responsibilities will include :

1. Manage the legal process of buying or selling residential property from start to finish
2. Take initial instructions, verify client identity, and explain the conveyancing process
3. Draft or review contracts, investigate the legal title, and arrange property searches
4. Raise or respond to legal enquiries and ensure all necessary information is complete
5. Review mortgage offers and meet lender requirements where applicable
6. Advise clients on legal risks or issues related to the property or transaction
7. Oversee exchange of contracts, secure the deposit, and agree on a completion date
8. Handle the transfer of funds, confirm completion, and arrange key release
9. Pay any required taxes (such as Stamp Duty) and register the new owner with the Land Registry
10. Provide final documents to the client and/or lender, and maintain clear communication throughout

The successful candidate will have relevant experience in residential conveyancing, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage cases efficiently.
