Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Corporate Tax Manager with 5+ years of experience to join a well-established Top 50 accountancy practice. This full-time role offers a salary range of £60,000 - £80,000, hybrid working options (after probation), and benefits.

As a Senior Corporate Tax Manager, you will be delivering corporation tax advisory and compliance services to a portfolio of fast-growing, tech-led businesses.

You will be responsible for:

1. Assisting senior leadership on strategic tax matters, including business restructures, corporate deals, and innovation-related tax reliefs.
2. Overseeing or directly handling the preparation of intricate corporate tax computations.
3. Delivering clear, accurate technical tax guidance to both clients and internal colleagues.
4. Working closely with other departments to identify cross-service opportunities and support business development.
5. Playing a role in promotional efforts, including contributing to thought leadership and marketing content.
6. Tracking and managing financial performance indicators such as chargeable time, recoveries, and client billing.

What we are looking for:

1. Previous experience as an Assistant Tax Manager, Tax Advisor, Tax Senior, Tax Accountant, Tax Specialist, or in a similar role.
2. At least 5 years of experience in corporate tax within an accountancy practice.
3. ACCA or ACA qualified (CTA preferred).
4. Solid technical expertise in UK corporation tax compliance and advisory.
5. Excellent leadership, delegation, and mentoring abilities.
