Job Description:

As a result of internal promotion, KUHN Group is hiring an Area Sales Manager for its UK site. Based on territory to cover Central England.

THE ROLE This position requires strong engagement with modern agricultural processes, excellent commercial and relationship-building skills, and the ability to develop existing and new business within a network of high-performing dealerships. It is a dynamic and career-enhancing opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with designated dealers to develop annual sales and marketing plans.
  • Meet or exceed annual budgets for turnover and margins.
  • Promote the company's products and services within the dealer network and support product update training.
  • Assist dealers with demonstrations, farm visits, and closing deals.
  • Maintain dealer and end-user databases to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Implement discount structures, establish bonuses and incentives, and offer retail finance options.
  • Participate in presentations, seminars, training courses, shows, exhibitions, and dealer open days.
  • Undertake regular product training to stay informed about products and competitors, either in the UK or at the European headquarters.
  • Manage weekly call logs and ensure follow-ups are completed.
  • Demonstrate commercial success within the agricultural machinery sector.
  • Work within the UK agricultural machinery dealer network or for a manufacturer.
  • Operate within a budgetary framework, motivated by targets.
  • Possess hands-on experience with modern agricultural machinery at a semi-technical level.
  • Build professional relationships using strong interpersonal skills and effective communication strategies.
  • Have a high level of IT literacy and familiarity with modern sales and marketing methods, including social media and CRM systems.
  • Reside in or be willing to relocate to Central England.
