Position: 3rd Line Team Leader

Type: Permanent

Location: On-site in Glasgow, Scotland

Security Clearance: Security cleared role

Salary: GBP50,000 - GBP55,000

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled 3rd Line Engineer and Team Leader to build and grow a support team that assists our customer in delivering training systems and supporting armed forces personnel.

We seek a 3rd Line Support Engineer with team lead experience to establish a new team of 2nd/3rd line technicians. This role offers a chance to expand your IT knowledge and management skills. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to mentor junior team members. A solid understanding of IT support is required, with opportunities for skill development through self-study and training in relevant technologies.

This role involves working with remote teams across the UK and maintaining effective communication. It is a customer-facing position, requiring liaison with key clients to provide guidance and support, ensuring contractual obligations are met. You will create processes and instructions for your team to support our customers and partners, meeting KPIs and PIs.

Experience required:

• Knowledge of military security, Protected Document Register, and Joint Service Publications (PDR/JSP) is advantageous.
• Engagement in projects beyond the immediate scope may occur.
• High customer satisfaction skills, with the ability to clarify and meet customer needs within your support role.
• Leadership experience and a good understanding of IT support and infrastructure.
