Job Summary:

To assist in the development and implementation of marketing programmes that drive brand awareness, recruit new users to the brand, and support retail sales growth across all UK & ROI.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Strategy and Management
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to develop well-paced marketing calendars per retailer, incorporating national events, product previews, and exclusive retailer offers.
  • Support the Marketing Manager with planning and implementing timely trade media campaigns.
  • Maintain a product assortment that reflects the needs of each channel.
  • Present launch plans at retailer strategy meetings and ensure all new launches are supported with relevant retailers.
  • In liaison with Global Marketing/Design teams and Marketing Manager, manage production of local support tools and assets.
  • Support the Marketing Manager with the development and implementation of windows and promotional sites alongside VM.
  • Track the day-to-day marketing budget including POS materials, events, collateral, testers, and samples within pre-approved budgets.
  • Liaise with the Marketing Manager to ensure wise expenditure and accurate recording of all expenses within the budget.
Forecast Planning and Pricing
  • Present forecast bulletins to the wider sales team ahead of forecasting, clarifying global strategy and rationale.
  • Manage research and pricing increase strategies, presenting to the Marketing Manager and providing insights into the wider environment.
  • Maintain and manage value details for all newness, including limited editions and holiday collections.
Media Execution and Support
  • Support the Marketing Manager in executing the media plan.
  • Liaise with media agency partners, EMEA & Global teams, and in-house design agency to execute asset requests per channel.
  • Understand media campaign performance and suggest learnings for future campaigns.
Analysis and Reporting
  • Collate monthly brand reports reflecting local market performance.
  • Manage post-campaign analysis for launches, including sell-out performance and ROI.
Other
  • Conduct regular field visits to review brand and competitor performance.
  • Monitor and communicate competitor activity within the National Account Groups.
  • Raise POs, track marketing costs, and maintain budget trackers.
  • Implement and complete projects as requested by the business.
Profile, Skills, and Experience Required:
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Strong experience in retail marketing, preferably within beauty.
  • Commercial acumen with sound business understanding.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
  • Creative with an eye for detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
