Looking to join a dynamic and innovative team in the field of mental healthcare? Look no further than our client! Established over four decades ago, they've become pioneers in providing top-tier mental health, specialist care, education, and social services across the United Kingdom. We are currently seeking a Registered Senior Mental Health Nurse to join our purpose-built facility in Nottingham, providing acute adult mental health services.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a defined group of team members and contribute to their overall CPD, mandatory training and appraisal process, recognising the skills required across the team.
  • Monitor and review Nursing Care plans
  • Evaluate and respond to changes in patients’ condition and needs
  • Provide a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder
  • Develop therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
  • Contribute to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
  • Lead shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team

Requirements:

  • A relevant nursing qualification and current registration, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the field.
  • Exceptional teamwork skills, coupled with self-motivation and adaptability to thrive in our 24/7 operational environment, which includes weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
  • A deep-seated dedication to patient-centred care and adherence to evidence-based practice, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
