Site Manager / Senior Site Manager – (New Build Industrial Project)

Our client are looking for a hands-on, experienced Site Manager to take control of a high-value new build industrial project, managing day-to-day site operations and driving delivery on programme, quality, and safety. This role is ideal for a confident leader with a track record in delivering complex steel-frame or large-scale industrial schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage all on-site activities, including subcontractor coordination, materials, site logistics, and compliance.

* Lead site inductions, toolbox talks, and ensure a strong health & safety culture on site.

* Work closely with the Project Manager and commercial team to maintain programme, budget, and reporting standards.

* Monitor construction progress against plans and provide input to sequencing and resourcing.

* Ensure quality control and snag-free delivery at handover.

Requirements:

* Proven experience managing industrial or commercial construction projects (e.g., warehouses, factories, distribution centres).

* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage subcontractors and drive performance.

* Excellent knowledge of construction methods and building regulations.

* Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), and First Aid certification.

* Good IT and reporting skills (e.g., site diaries, RAMS, snagging tools)
