Trade Counter/Stores Operative - Electrical Wholesale

Our client, an electrical wholesale firm based in Ashford, is seeking a Trade Counter/Stores Operative to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. Serving customers at the trade counter and in the warehouse
2. Picking orders and managing stock
3. Logging goods in and out

Occasionally, the role may require covering the Van Driver position, so a driving licence is desirable.

This is a customer-facing role requiring an enthusiastic and positive approach.

The working hours are from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Additionally, one in three Saturday mornings are scheduled as overtime, which is paid.

Candidates should have knowledge of electrical wholesale, experience in customer service, warehouse duties, and driving.

The basic salary ranges up to £35,000, depending on age and experience, plus profit sharing/bonus and other benefits.
