are currently seeking a Senior HR Generalist based in Cambridge for one of our clients on a 9-month contract basis. The role is ideal for a hands-on HR Generalist who is available immediately.

Summary of the Senior HR Generalist role

• Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
• Location: Cambridge
• Type of Contract: 9-month contract
• Hours: 37 hours per week

Responsibilities of the Senior HR Generalist

• Processing all employee lifecycle functions including leavers, starters, recruitment, temporary workers, and more.
• Maintaining accurate employee records and reports to support strategic decision-making at the board level.
• Managing compensation and benefits.
• Overseeing internal and external auditing processes and ensuring policy compliance.
• Reporting to the CEO and Board level.
• Ensuring employment contracts, letters, and other HR documentation are legally compliant and sent out in a timely manner.
• Reviewing, devising, and conducting annual performance management and appraisal processes.
• Undertaking disciplinary and grievance procedures.

Requirements for a successful Senior HR Generalist

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or above.
• Substantial hands-on HR experience, including managing the employee lifecycle.
• Diplomatic and discreet.
• Proficient with computer applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with HR database implementation and management.
• Strong analysis and reporting skills.
