Position: Payroll/HR Generalist

We are seeking a Payroll/HR Generalist to support HR operations across the U.S., focusing on benefits administration, HRIS management, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Payroll Administration: Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls accurately, review time entries, deductions, and adjustments, coordinate funding requests, ensure compliance with multi-state payroll laws, partner with Finance for reconciliation, and manage year-end activities.
  2. Benefits Administration: Administer benefits via ADP, serve as liaison for COBRA and leave programs, support ACA compliance, collaborate on plan design, co-lead open enrollment, and promote wellness initiatives.
  3. HRIS & Systems Management: Maintain HRIS data integrity, generate reports, support ADP Workforce Now administration.
  4. Employee Lifecycle & Compliance: Manage onboarding and termination processes, conduct employment verifications, ensure documentation accuracy.
  5. Compliance & Risk Management: Partner with insurance brokers, ensure compliance with employment laws, support budgeting and forecasting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years in Payroll, HR operations, or benefits, in a multi-state environment.
  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now; experience with Globalization Partners is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. benefits regulations and Canadian employment practices.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive information.
