Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Assistant Manager to join our team and support the Operations Manager in leading a dynamic and efficient warehouse operation. This role is key to ensuring the smooth, safe, and effective running of our warehouse while maintaining high standards of customer service, accuracy, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

As the Warehouse Assistant Manager, you will:

• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.

• Provide hands-on leadership to warehouse staff, ensuring alignment with company goals.

• Champion high standards of customer service across all warehouse functions.

• Monitor team and individual performance, taking corrective action when necessary.

• Oversee goods receipt, inspection, storage, stock rotation, and dispatch activities.

• Ensure timely and accurate stock movements and documentation through the WMS.

• Supervise loading/unloading operations and maintain warehouse organisation.

• Lead by example in enforcing Health & Safety compliance.

• Prepare for and lead annual stock counts with accuracy and efficiency.

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a warehouse environment.

• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, and WMS systems.

• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

• Proactive, hands-on attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Desirable:

• Valid forklift license (preferred).

Hours:

• Monday to Friday : 8am-5pm
