Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Overview: To optimize operational performance through proactive and reactive maintenance, ensuring safety through safe working practices and equipment, while providing on-call support for the factory.

Main Activities:

1. Safeguard the integrity and safety of all plant and equipment associated with manufacturing operations, adhering to company standards.
2. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to site projects aligned with corporate objectives.
3. Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing, and modifications within the computerized maintenance management system.
4. Manage spares inventory, ensuring critical spares are stocked appropriately.
5. Oversee MTTR/MTBF, service schedules, CI activities, and control of spares and consumables to support manufacturing and assembly areas.
6. Maintain site facilities in compliance with regulations and oversee subcontractors' safety and work quality.
7. Develop autonomous maintenance skills in designated areas and ensure effective execution.
8. Attend to breakdowns using fault-finding techniques to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
9. Complete all work activities following company policies and procedures.

Job Scope:

1. Maintain 5S standards and personal discipline in all maintenance activities.
2. Follow safe systems of work, including RAMS and LOTO procedures.
3. Perform planned preventative maintenance as per statutory requirements.
4. Adhere to the Schneider Production System and departmental KPIs.
5. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to reduce costs and waste.
6. Foster strong customer relationships and utilize feedback for improvements.
7. Ensure accurate cost allocation and proper management of equipment and consumables.
8. Support training and personal development initiatives.
9. Assist the Maintenance Manager in maximizing departmental efficiency and aligning with corporate policies.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Apprenticeship or equivalent with an engineering qualification (ONC/HNC) and relevant hands-on experience.
2. Desirable: 17th edition wiring regulations and 2391 certification.
3. High computer/PLC literacy; SAP and CMMS experience preferred.
4. Desired: MEWP and forklift licenses (training available).
5. Strong teamwork, problem-solving, communication skills, and enthusiasm are essential.
6. Proven experience in maintenance, demonstrating proactive and complex problem-solving skills.
