Maintenance Engineer – Food Manufacturing
Location: Middlesbrough
Salary: £38,000 – £46,000

Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer looking to join a thriving FMCG business with modern facilities and industry-leading machinery? Our client is a major player in the UK FMCG sector, producing products for some of the biggest names in retail, rail, airline, and education industries. The Maintenance Engineer Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be working in a fast-paced production environment supporting semi-automated lines and packaging equipment. This is a hands-on role that includes:

  • Reactive maintenance on high-speed machinery
  • Small installations and continuous improvements
  • Facilities maintenance, including sinks, toilets, and general infrastructure
  • Involvement in some PPM but with a flexible, non-rigid approach

Key Equipment & Systems:

  • Depositors
  • Ultrasonic Cutters
  • Box Taping Machines
  • Air Compressors
  • Wash Systems
  • Compactors

Technical Skills Required:

  • Safety Circuits, Sensors, Relays
