Finance Director

Are you a Finance Director, who excels in commercial thinking and business partnering? A London-based multimedia company, with international reach, is looking for a strategic Finance Director with a proven track record of business partnering with creative colleagues. Joining this leading provider of educational resources that nurture emotional intelligence and life skills, you will manage a team of two finance professionals and oversee all financial management for a range of revenue streams, including B2B and D2C. If you embrace a growth mindset, have a passion for emotional and mental well-being, excel in relationship building and take ownership of your work, this could be the perfect next step in your career in finance management.

Key responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Budgeting: Deliver and monitor financial reports; and lead the annual budget, forecasting, and long-term financial planning process.
• Operational & Systems Management: Manage and refine financial policies, processes, and systems to support operational efficiency.
• Business Partnering: work closely as a trusted colleague with key stakeholders for each revenue stream to provide actionable financial insights; and maintain strong relationships with department leads, ensuring alignment between financial goals and broader business objectives.

This role may suit someone that has experience working in small to medium sized businesses and across diverse revenue streams and business models (a knowledge of subscription models is highly desirable). It could suit a Finance Controller/Manager looking for a step up, or a Finance Director looking for a change.
