Product Support Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Support Engineer to join our Engineering team based in Milton Keynes. This is a new role within the business, providing support across the entire product range of SWARCO in the UK.

This role involves identifying and qualifying alternatives and adjustments to the design and its supporting production package. The goal is to enable updates to be made and released throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring the products meet performance criteria. You will also be responsible for maintaining or updating product certification, often using external test resources such as optical, EMC, environmental, and electrical safety test houses, as well as internal verification testing.

Your Challenge

Join us as a Product Support Engineer and contribute to supporting our innovative products in the UK market. Your tasks will include design adjustments, certification management, and supporting product updates throughout their lifecycle.

Your Profile

• BEng in Electronics, HNC/D, or equivalent experience
• Proficient in electrical schematics, BOMs, and PCB layout
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (O365)
• Knowledge of communications protocols including RS485, RS232, Ethernet, WiFi
• Understanding of Mechanical 2D/3D Drawings
• Strong communication skills suitable for customer interactions
• Problem-solving skills in electronic and electrical designs
• Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, frequency counters, DMMs
• Full UK driver's license is essential
• Right to live and work in the UK
