About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to hire an ambitious, passionate, and driven UK & Pureplay Category Marketing Manage to join us on a 12 month FTC! You will drive the category strategy and impactful on and offline go-to-market plans, pivoting around changing customer habits and aligned with the overarching business goals. As one of our regional brand marketing guardians, you will collaborate effectively with the wider UK and Global teams with your attitude to excellence, your ability to leverage both art and commerce to drive results and your passion for getting things done!

As our Category Marketing Manager you will

  • A highly experienced marketing expert, your role will be centred around translating the global category strategy and NPD launch plans into regional go to market plans, leading these programmes end to end and having full ownership of category performance.
  • You will take an all of category approach, driving results for NPD, Core, Services and PRO Tech Tools.
  • Track and analyse Charlotte Tilbury market, and brand health data and trends to inform strategy and decision making, and regularly cascade updates to the business.
  • As the regional champion for your category, collaborate across Retail Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Store Design, Communications, Commercial, REOP and Digital teams to develop integrated plans, and mobilise behind the common goals and strategy set out by you.
  • Collaborate and support Commercial team to develop NPD and category-level demand plans, aligned to Category strategy and marketing plans, striving for forecast accuracy.
  • Work closely with the Global Product Marketing Team to influence and inform campaigns and innovation pipeline, to suit UK market nuance.
  • Bring thought leadership and digital excellence to innovative and disruptive brand activity to raise total brand awareness, identifying best practices across the industry and opportunities to increase Charlotte Tilbury share of voice and ranking, with a strong lens on driving the best omnichannel customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Media Manager on the media strategy, planning and creative execution for your category.
  • Support in continuing to establish clear processes within the UK team to ensure 'world-class’ delivery is achieved across the region, particularly focusing on cross functional & regional collaboration.
  • Drive the planning, approval & follow-up of key projects to gain alignment from all key internal & external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to accurate budget forecasting and actualisation of the regional marketing budget in line with sales targets

Who you will work with

  • You will report directly into our Head of Marketing, UK, AU,NZ and PP.
  • You will work closely alongside global Marketing teams, as well as cross functionally with the wider UK Function, including Commercial, VM and PR.

About you

  • You have a demonstrable background within Marketing, specifically category, gained within Beauty or Retail.
  • Experienced in devising and implementing strategic plans with creative flair.
  • You have excellent experience within Digital and online Marketing skills.
  • An excellent communicator, you have strong personal leadership with high attention to detail.
  • You work well under pressure, you can ruthlessly prioritise and know how to influence up and work in an agile environment with ease.
  • Have a flexible and professional attitude, you are hungry to learn and welcome challenge!
  • Have exceptional organisational and prioritising skills, with great attention to detail and is results-driven.
