Summary
Dyfrig House provides supported accommodation for individuals who have experienced homelessness and are motivated to address their problematic alcohol and substance use issues. We support these individuals by engaging them with recovery & treatment services and providing housing-related support to enable independent living. We are looking for a Project Worker to join our team.
Overview
Where does the role fit in?
Dyfrig House is a specialist service offering supported accommodation to homeless people recovering from alcohol and substance use issues or involved with Criminal Justice Services. It works with Pobl’s treatment services and local recovery services to support individuals on their recovery journey and facilitate positive moves into independent living and community re-settlement. This role offers variety and the opportunity to be part of a team committed to delivering high-quality support.
As a Project Worker, you will lead each shift by managing the scheme and overseeing the Scheme Support Officers.

Your Day Will Consist Of
Our motivation is to equip individuals with the knowledge and tools to live independently. This is a challenging role involving complex behaviours and needs, including alcohol misuse, mental health issues, substance misuse, and offending behaviour. You will work with diverse personalities and behaviours, requiring adaptability and appropriate conflict management skills.
