Job description

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a UK Account Director to join the team located in Jealotts Hill, Bracknell. Reporting to the Alliance Director Europe, this role involves:

  1. Supervising, planning, and coordinating all aspects of System Operations, Soft Service delivery, Hard Service delivery, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, M&E, Help Desk Calls, and Small Project Works.
  2. Managing the contract relationship.
  3. Acting as a trusted advisor and thought leader, driving innovation and best practices.
  4. Developing the business relationship and growing contract value.
  5. Being operationally hands-on as necessary, with full managerial and financial responsibilities. The UK Account Director will oversee the UK region and some small European countries.
  6. Ensuring alignment between the account organization and other departments within CBRE to maximize value and operational excellence, providing direction and oversight to account teams.

Key Tasks:

  • Managing a team of soft services professionals, community experience team, M&E engineers, and contract support workers.
  • Maintaining standard operating procedures, emergency and contingency plans.
  • Ensuring healthy and safe working conditions and reviewing the H&S policy regularly.
  • Managing P&L, contract governance, and being accountable for financial performance.
  • Leading resources indirectly to deliver against the contract and managing scope interpretation.
  • Upholding customer relations.
  • Negotiating, administering contracts, and understanding contractual terms and implications.
  • Promoting continuous improvement for excellent client service.
  • Managing the contract relationship as a trusted advisor and growing the business relationship.
  • Engaging with senior client relationships and leveraging the broader CBRE portfolio for new scope and business opportunities.
