Senior Estimator - Natural Resources Team

We're seeking a Senior Estimator to join our Natural Resources Team, focusing on Civils, to handle estimating duties on our new Southern Water framework.

Location: Remote working is supported, with travel to client sites and offices across the Southern Water contract as needed.

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time. Flexible and part-time hours may be available upon request.

Responsibilities

As a Civils Senior Estimator, you will collaborate with our framework delivery team and the client to deliver cost-effective solutions for Civils work in accordance with framework requirements.

Your daily tasks include:

• Contributing to all pre-construction activities, including early contractor involvement and pre-tender preparations.
• Preparing multi-discipline tender pricing, capable of producing various levels of detail from top-down budgets to detailed lump sums.
• Reviewing client specifications and drawings, considering safety, health, quality, and environmental issues.
• Participating in review and progress meetings, including site visits.
• Identifying project requirements, solutions, risks, and opportunities, including programming and value engineering.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have:

• A proven track record in delivering tenders and managing a project portfolio within a framework environment.
• Experience in the pre-construction phase to identify risks and opportunities quickly.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and commercial awareness skills.
