Construction Manager - Night Shifts - Outside IR35

Location: Plymouth

Shift Pattern: 12-hour night shifts (4 days on, 4 days off)

Contract Duration: 12 months

Night Shift Uplift Rates

• Weekday nights: 1.33x
• Saturdays: 1.5x

Security & Compliance

• Candidates must be eligible for UK Security Clearance.
• An IR35 assessment will be required to determine the correct tax status for Limited Company engagements.
  
  

Role Overview

As a Construction Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team and collaborate across functions to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of construction activities. You'll bring a strong understanding of CDM regulations, health and safety legislation, and nuclear safety principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement construction management strategies and processes
• Lead and mentor the construction delivery team
• Align construction activities with broader business and programme goals
• Promote a strong safety culture and enforce site rules
• Conduct SQEP assessments for construction roles
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to project planning, design reviews, and contract scoping

• 10+ years of experience in construction management
• OND, HND, Degree, or equivalent qualification
• Working towards membership of a recognised professional body
