The role

The Laboratory Technician plays a crucial role in the formulation team, developing product formulations and supporting the technical team with scientific data. Responsibilities include preparing product batches, conducting micro challenge testing, managing lab operations, and collaborating with global colleagues.

What you will do:

• Prepare paperwork, manage raw materials, and use the PALM system to generate data for formula release.
• Manufacture and develop gels and lotions, supporting pilot batches and engineering teams. Gain proficiency with lab equipment.
• Conduct stability testing, ensuring accurate data collection.
• Manage samples: filling, packing, labeling, and shipping, including hazardous materials handling.
• Contribute ideas for R&D innovation and develop new products.
• Create samples for marketing and lead delivery programs when required.

What you’ll need:

• Science A-level (preferred)
• Laboratory or manufacturing experience with good manufacturing practices.
• Knowledge of consumer products, preferably cosmetics or food.
• Practical, hands-on team player.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
