Job Description
Windsor Forest Colleges group is seeking a Technician – Laboratory to join our Berkshire College of Agriculture team, starting in September 2025. This is a permanent, part-time, term-time only position, working 20 hours per week for 38 weeks per year.
Technician – Laboratory
In this role, you will support Teaching and Learning across laboratories on the BCA campus. Your responsibilities include preparing and managing laboratory resources, such as equipment, chemicals, materials, apparatus, samples, and specimens.
You must ensure laboratory safety and maintenance standards are upheld, requiring a strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations, COSHH, and basic laboratory equipment maintenance.
Qualifications include at least a Level 3 qualification in a relevant scientific area (Biology or Chemistry), with suitable laboratory experience and the ability to set up and dismantle scientific equipment as needed.
