Job Title: Service Engineer

Salary: £17.00 - £19.50 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled agricultural engineer to join our dynamic service team in Forfar, specializing in Agricultural Machinery. This role requires expertise in engines, electrics, hydraulics, transmissions, GPS, and precise calibrations.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform day-to-day mechanicing tasks.
2. Diagnose and address engine faults, utilizing service adviser tools.
3. Covering Angus, Perth, Fife, and Southern Scotland, the role involves traveling and occasional overnight stays.
4. Participate in a weekend on-call rota.
5. Work Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with expected overtime.

Qualifications:

1. Agricultural engineering background.
2. Strong knowledge of engines, particularly John Deere.
3. Proficiency in various technical areas: electrics, hydraulics, transmissions, GPS, and calibrations.
