As the HR Governance and Compensation Manager, you will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of HR governance structures and compensation programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. You will shape our company's approach to governance, risk management, and compensation to support our mission and promote sustainable growth.
The Role:
HR Governance
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain HR policies related to recruitment, hiring, compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, data privacy, and more.
- Establish controls and processes to manage HR-related risks, including data privacy, compliance, and internal controls.
- Promote ethical standards and accountability by establishing clear conduct expectations for HR professionals, managers, and employees.
- Monitor and evaluate HR program performance using data, metrics, and KPIs to assess effectiveness and inform improvements.
Compensation
- Lead the design and administration of compensation programs, including base pay and incentives, to attract, retain, and motivate talent.
- Review and analyze compensation practices and market trends to ensure competitiveness and fairness.
- Collaborate with leadership and teams to develop and communicate compensation strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with regulations related to compensation, such as wage laws, pay equity, and tax implications.
- Support HR teams and managers on compensation matters, including job evaluations and salary offers.
- Participate in special projects related to HR governance and compensation as needed.
The Person:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related; CIPD certification preferred.
- 5-7 years experience in HR governance, compensation, or related roles, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of HR governance principles and regulations.
- Deep knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation, salary structures, and incentives.
- Experience developing HR policies and compliance programs.
- Excellent analytical skills for data interpretation and trend analysis.
- Strong project management skills in fast-paced environments.
- Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS, compensation systems, Microsoft Office, and project management tools.
- Experience managing complex transformational change and working in dynamic environments.
