Workshop Supervisor

Based Castleford, West Yorkshire

A Workshop Supervisor with a hands-on background as a Fitter is required for a busy engineering company.

You will be required to provide leadership to the onsite team of fitters and oversee the mechanical production of pumps. The role will be very hands-on and will include production supervision, mechanical assembly, inspection and testing.

The role requires previous experience of supervising and inspection in a mechanical engineering environment. You will supervise mechanical operations to ensure all aspects of the order cycle is completed. You will also maintain a safe working environment by adherence to QHSE requirements.

As a hands on role you will also be involved in dismantling, rebuilding and the refurbishment of pumps within the workshop.

The successful candidate will have previous in Production Supervision in an engineering environment. You will have strong hands-on experience as a Fitter with experience of pumps or similar rotating equipment.
