Production Coordinator

• Location: Slough
• Salary: £55,700-£61,290 (including shift allowance) dependent on experience
• Performance-related company bonus
• Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts, 7-7, 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off

The role oversees the smooth execution of production plans, maintains adherence to standards, and actively creates and drives action plans to return the line to standard running conditions in a timely manner. Responsible for driving FMOS, efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and actively contributing to the ongoing improvement of production processes. The role requires problem-solving and collaborative skills to achieve optimal production performance.

What are we looking for?

• A strong communicator with the ability to relate to all levels and backgrounds, and confront challenging situations as required
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Experience in FMCG or high-speed production environments
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills
• Good understanding of Microsoft-based systems; SAP literacy is desirable
• Experience with TPM/Operational Excellence/Autonomous Maintenance is desirable

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure production plans are executed, including PMs and changeovers
• Monitor losses and lead Basic Problem Solving (BPS) to define problems accurately
• Track production activities, identify issues, and escalate delays promptly following FMOS procedures
• Implement safety protocols and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe working environment
• Maintain safety and quality standards to meet or exceed specifications
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
• Support and mentor factory operators to improve their problem-solving and performance
