Our client is a Yorkshire-based manufacturer of fan and smoke extraction systems, including car park ventilation, smoke control, and tunnel ventilation.
With a nationwide reputation, they have a service division that performs PPM across the UK for their own systems as well as competitors'.
Due to continued growth, they require a Mechanical Service Engineer to join their team.
As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you will travel around the UK to visit customers. This role involves planned travel, with most weeks spent away from home. It is ideal for a mechanical fitter with experience in air movement, air conditioning, bearings, belts, or motors.
You will be responsible for:
You will spend much of your time in the field supporting electrical service engineers and the sales team. Collaboration with design and manufacturing teams, and dealing with internal and external customers, require excellent communication skills at all levels. As the face of the company, professionalism is essential.
You should have a flexible approach to work.
The successful candidate will receive a salary of up to 40k, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Working hours are from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and until 2 pm on Fridays, when in the office.
