Audio Visual Installation Engineer - Smart Home Automation Residential Projects
Location: Maidstone, Kent
Salary: 33,000 - 38,000 (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced AV Engineer with a passion for transforming luxury homes into fully integrated smart spaces? Do you take pride in delivering flawless, high-end installations that elevate the living experience?

We are partnering with a forward-thinking, growing company at the forefront of the Smart Home Automation industry, and we are seeking a talented Audio-Visual Installation Engineer to join their expert team. You'll have the chance to work on stunning residential projects, installing and commissioning the very latest in-home automation, multi-room audio, home cinema, lighting control, and security systems.

What You'll Be Doing

• Installing, commissioning, and maintaining cutting-edge smart home systems (Control4, Lutron, Crestron, and similar)
• Rack building, cable pulling, wiring, and high-quality terminations
• Installing multi-room audio, home cinema systems, home networks, lighting control, CCTV, and integrated security systems
• Collaborating closely with project managers, system designers, and programmers to ensure flawless delivery on every project
• Occasionally delivering client handovers and providing basic system training to end users

About You

• Strong experience in Audio Visual installation, ideally within the high-end residential or smart home sector
• Excellent knowledge of home automation platforms such as Control4, Lutron, Crestron, or similar systems
• Highly skilled in AV rack building, cable management, system integration, and fault finding
• Confident working from technical drawings and wiring schematics
• Professional, presentable, and able to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and contractors
• Full UK driving licence
