Content for the site - we have constant updates - comes from our events including HowTheLightGetsIn, the world's largest philosophy and music festival held both online and in person.
This role is an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious person to join our communications and digital marketing team as a Junior Web Analyst.
As a Junior Web Analyst, you will be motivated by understanding how users find our website, what they do on it, and exploring and developing different ways to improve website interaction and conversions. You will have the ability to interpret and respond to data patterns and the creative imagination to come up with goal-oriented solutions. As the role develops you will build up a thorough understanding of how to use Google Analytics to drive changes to the website, and gain experience of wireframes, user flows, and website design.
You will work alongside experienced designers, developers and our Creative Director, helping to realise the IAI’s short and long term digital goals. You will need to be results focused, agile and have excellent organizational skills. You will be a good communicator with sound editorial judgment. You will track the performance of our site/s, try out new concepts and ideas, reporting back to the senior team with your findings and analysis. As you grow in experience you will have the opportunity to put forward your own ideas and develop your own strategies.
All candidates should have an excellent educational background with a minimum 2:1 from a top university. In addition, all candidates will need to show they are passionate about the content we create and our goal to change how the world thinks putting philosophy and big thinking at the centre of culture. Experience of Google Analytics and UX Research, basic design knowledge and experience of working with websites are all highly desirable and an advantage though not essential if you are able to show engagement in and understanding of the contemporary digital environment. Well-suited degrees include philosophy, maths, human sciences, economics, psychology, marketing or computer science.
