As the Brand Manager for this innovative brand, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand's future. You need to be passionate, innovative, and strategic to help drive continued growth. You will be responsible for developing and implementing brand, marketing, and communication strategies linked to consumer/retail insights.
Responsibilities:
- Brand Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization to launch and beyond, to bring innovative products to market.
- Product Development: Lead collaboration to generate innovative product ideas aligned with market trends and customer preferences. Work with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, R&D, and Design, to develop marketable products.
- Brand Identity: Ensure the brand's identity is consistent across all touchpoints, acting as the guardian of brand guidelines and standards.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation to achieve brand objectives.
- Consumer and Competitor Insights: Interpret market research, surveys, and data analysis to gain insights into industry trends, digital developments, and consumer behavior. Use this data to inform decisions and refine strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams across departments to align strategies and ensure brand consistency.
- Brand Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, sales data, and customer feedback to measure strategy effectiveness and adjust as needed.
- Collaboration: Work with Marketing, Communications, and Sales teams to develop the Trade Marketing Calendar to drive sales within the marketing budget.
- Product Management: Manage planograms and assortments for various displays, and build/propose price lists and sales forecasts to maximize sales and margins.
- Events: Assist and participate in internal and external company events.
Role requirements
- A passion for beauty, cosmetics, or haircare, with proven experience in a similar industry role.
- Experienced marketer, brand, or communications professional, with product development experience.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior and market trends.
- Confident and compelling presenter, able to represent the brand passionately to retail partners.
- Analytical, comfortable interpreting market data to provide innovative recommendations.
- Proficient in marketing software and tools, with excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of building strong stakeholder relationships.
- Previous experience working with key retailers in the UK and Europe is beneficial.
