Job description

The purpose of this role is to reconcile and manage the company bank accounts, to support the Branch network & the Treasury Team

What you'll be doing:

  • Liaise with branches on a daily basis
  • Investigate discrepancies between what branches have reported on the system and what has physically been credited through the bank
  • Manual matching on Bank Rec system
  • Input payments onto the bank internet system
  • Support branches to close their overnight process
  • Reconcile the Cash Sale Bacs nominal
  • Input chargebacks into the master spreadsheet and forward letters to branches
  • Reconcile the Web transactions
  • Distribute post daily
  • Reconcile account customer monies & send to the Sales Ledger team
  • Reconcile the outgoing payments & send to the Purchase Ledger team
  • Post Sales Ledger Banking figures onto Kerridge daily
  • Producing Month end reports
What you'll need to have:
  • Educated to G.C.S.E standard or equivalent
  • AAT qualification would be beneficial but not essential
  • IT and PC literate with excellent Excel knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Some experience within a cash management role would be advantageous
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to work well on their own as well as within a team.
