About the Role

FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing local accountancy practice, for a Bookkeeper/Accountant on a part-time basis.

This is a fully flexible Remote / Home Based role where working hours can be arranged around family/personal commitments, with Sole Trader, LTD company or Umbrella employment solutions available.

Responsibilities
  • Client liaison on all aspects of their accounts
  • Account reconciliations
  • Management accounts preparation
  • Payroll and pension auto-enrolment processing
  • VAT preparation and filing
  • Preparation and submission of company and personal accounts and tax returns
About you

Suitable candidates should have the following:

  • Experience of working in an accountancy practice setting would be an advantage
  • Competence in Excel
  • Experience with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks)
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, organisational and interpersonal skills
