Job Description

Please note that we cannot offer visa sponsorship for this role.

The Laboratory Technician at Eurofins Genomics Europe, DTC & Population Genetics, Products & Services Limited, will perform analytical laboratory work.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 07:00 and 23:00.

  1. Handling and recording accurate analytical source data, including entry into Eurofins systems (Worksheets, LIMS, QMS).
  2. Preparing SOPs for analytical procedures related to the technician’s responsibilities.
  3. Maintaining an up-to-date User Training Log.
  4. Contributing to safety procedures.
  5. Performing sample reception, quality control, normalization, PCR preparations, analysis procedures, and Micro Array procedures.
  6. Managing sample shipment.
  7. Controlling and maintaining pipettes annually.
  8. Maintaining laboratory cleanliness and organization.
  9. Reporting issues to the Team Leader.
  10. Performing monthly stock inventories.
  11. Ensuring high-quality analysis and reliable results within deadlines.
  12. Adhering to company policies and standards during analysis.
Qualifications
  • Prior laboratory experience is essential.
  • BSc in a related scientific field is desirable.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
  • Strong sense of quality, flexibility, teamwork, and reliability.
  • Willingness to work shifts.
  • Excellent IT skills.
