A leading company in the UK is seeking a Director of Safety Assurance to lead their safety assurance team. This role focuses on developing safety standards, managing risks, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety leadership, particularly in the residential built environment sector, and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety standards while promoting a strong safety culture within the organization.
As a Director of Safety Assurance, you will be an inspiring safety leader who will directly lead and manage the safety assurance team. You will provide leadership in developing industry standards and fostering a culture of safety improvement within the business. Your responsibilities include leading the business to identify and mitigate risks and ensure compliance with safety standards. You will develop and implement tools to effectively audit, monitor, and review safety performance related to building safety, fire safety, and health and safety.
This role reports to the Director of Operational Excellence and will have direct reports of your own.
